Are you ready for some energy shift?
Changes are the only constant thing in the world. It’s either you go with the change or resist it. I would highly suggest that you go with the change and make the best out of it. The more you resist to change, the more it will be difficult for you to catch up in life. You need to learn the skill on how to go with changes and make what you can out of it. After all, growth is about having the ability to adapt to change, fast.
As it turns out, December the 3rd will bring about ample amounts of spiritual energy. Not only will there be a full moon, Mercury will also be going into retrograde.
Now, this full moon that is going to happen on December the 3rd is, as you may know going to be a supermoon and ‘Full Cold Moon.’ Supermoons happen when a full moon is able to coincide with the moon’s perigee. This is not something that happens often. Because of this, the moon itself will appear at least 14 percent larger and a lot brighter than usual during this time.
Because the full moon is going to be in Gemini we will be experiencing a shift that we are not quite used to. Trickster energy will be running rampant if you do not prepare yourself beforehand. I like to spend as much time the day before clearing my energy field and meditating but you can do whatever you feel is best for yourself.
The planet that is going to be in retrograde is Mercury. Mercury is also the ruling planet of the Gemini for those who were not aware.
A retrograde is something that happens when a planet appears to be moving backward from our vantage point here on planet Earth. While it looks as if it is moving backward really is not. Mercury turns retrograde around 3 or 4 times each year and this is something that lasts for a few weeks. Yes, that means the energy coming from this retrograde will not merely fade away with the full moon.
When a planet is in retrograde it seems the things that planet rules over are thrown off as well. This is especially important to touch on as Mercury rules the Gemini. When this retrograde first begins to hit we will go through what is essentially a shadow period. Most people do not begin to experience the effects of the retrograde of Mercury until it reaches its second stage; the storm.
This retrograde began on November 14th, stations with the full moon, and ends on December 22nd at almost 9 pm. This retrograde can and will likely be a bit problematic and frustrating, to say the least. Remember to do your best to remain grounded and let things run their course until you are able to settle down. Do not get caught up in the troubles that may come with this retrograde. While it will bring about mental balance, balance in everything else may just fall apart.
Mercury retrograde is nothing to be afraid of. Embrace it and all that comes with it. While it will feel as if you are being beaten down by two forces and help up by one things will go over well. In the end, everything will sort itself out.
