Startup Aims To Clone People’s Consciousness To Artificial Bodies

Do you want to have an artificial body?

Do you want to cheat death and continue living in this world? Are you too scared to let go of what’s here and all you have that you are willing to look and pay for someone who could give you an artificial body? If you do, then this might be what you have been looking for all this time. This startup will give you what you have been dreaming of for a long time.

If you were ever given the opportunity to cheat the cold, deathly grip of the reaper, would you take it? Humai, an Australian startup company, is currently developing a technology that would allow us to transfer our consciousness into an artificial body. Their goal is to be able to capture everything about you, from mannerisms to conversational styles, and transmit the allocated information into an artificial body.

“We’re using artificial intelligence and nanotechnology to store data of conversational styles, behavioral patterns, thought processes and information about how your body functions from the inside-out. This data will be coded into multiple sensor technologies, which will be built into an artificial body with the brain of a deceased human. Using cloning technology, we will restore the brain as it matures.” Humai CEO Josh Bocanegra states on their website.

The process first starts by collecting extensive data on the patients for a couple of years before their passing. They are currently developing apps that will help with this process. After death, Humai will cryogenically freeze their member’s brains until all of the information allocated has been prepared and fully developed. They will then transfer that data into the brain, and place the brain into the artificial body.

So this is where things get really interesting. Every action of your new artificial body will be controlled by your brain’s thoughts, by measuring brainwaves. In a sense, you will have never left. The technology will be able to mimic every move or emotion you would have made, every response you would have given. If everything goes as planned, you will, in fact, have cheated death.

Of course, all of this depends on some critical factors. Humai, optimistically believes that they will be able to resurrect the first human within the next 30 years, but is still a long ways away from doing so. Bocanegra comes from more of an entrepreneurial background, and not so much a scientific one. He is hoping that between his visionary ideas, and the help of his team, they will be able to accomplish this feat. But for this to work, they are relying on a lot of scientific breakthroughs in the near future.
